KALO LIVADI BEACH
Kalo Livadi :)...a long, beautiful, relatively quiet beach: one of the best I have seen on Mykonos so far. Even better than Elia! The only minus is that you are not allowed to swim in the nude here. You can not get there by bus, so you will have to hire a car or a motor, or take a taxi (9 euro in 2004). If you want to take a bus back you can make the 30 minutes walk to Kalafatis, a walk that is quite pleasant. On the way you will see another small beach just around the corner, about 5 minutes away from the main beach. Not so many houses YET, but this is going to change soon. There is building activity going on, and no wonder, because this is truly a super beach :)! At times we were as good as the only 2 people swimming in the sea. The view is top as well. If you want to take the bus back to Mykonos town from Kalafatis: there aren't many busses going. The one at 17.20 might be a good one.
