These two (nowadays three) wonderful naturist villas are set in an acre of beautiful terraced gardens with fabulous views of the Messinian Gulf and the Taygetos mountains beyond. There is a swimming pool (10m x 5m) surrounded by a sun terrace with sun loungers, a Petanque area and a bar serving drinks, cocktails and delicious home-cooked Greek food. Throughout the villas and gardens naturism is welcomed and there are many naturist-friendly beaches nearby. The extremely friendly and helpful owners, Cliff and Quee, also have a 43ft yacht and their guests thoroughly enjoy sailing trips in the gulf. Although the resort is predominantly for naturists, textile weeks are also available - not at the same time of course!

The villas are exceptionally well-equipped and have all you need for your self-catering holiday. You will be welcomed with a three course meal with wine, beer or soft drinks as part of your holiday on your arrival day, and you will also receive a welcome pack with enough for your breakfast the following morning. That way all you have to do is arrive, relax by the pool then stroll down to the bar area for the evening meal when the sun goes down. There is no need to go shopping until the next day. The villas are within walking distance of at least 2 local tavernas and are 3 Km from the small relaxed resort of Chrani; 6 Km from Petalidi a small fishing and market town with all the shops, bars and tavernas you need; and about 15 Km from Koroni, an exceptionally pretty fishing village with its Venetian Castle on the headland.

The beaches in the Messinian County are many and varied, from small bays with rocky outcrops to vast sandy beaches with crystal clear water. The landscape is very green and beautiful, with rivers, waterfalls, hills and mountains. There are ancient hill villages where time seems to have stood still, and beautiful waterside fishing villages with excellent tavernas serving delicious local dishes. The Peloponnese is also famous for its wealth of ancient sites and medieval castles, these include Olympia, Ancient Messini, Mystras, and the castles at Koroni, Methoni and Pylos. Above all, tourism in the area is very low key and the whole area and beaches are never crowded, even in August.
