From Corfu Town there are all kinds of excursions to neighboring islands, to Parga on the mainland and to Albania. These are organized by Ioanian Cruises. One of the tours goes along the blue Caves of Paxos, next a beautiful sandy beach on Antipaxos and than takes you to to the main town of Gaios on Paxos island. Here you can take a look at the town and have some food in one of the tevernes. The price for this cruise is 35 euro (2012) if you come to the port with your own transport.

Another cruise goes to the port of Plataria on the mainland (just south of Igoumenitsa), where you get the opportunity to walk around and have a drink. Then you will leave for the "Blue Lagoon" in the Bay of Piscine. The next stop is the cave in Syvota (mainland) where in World War II a submarine lay hidden. After visiting the town of Syvota you cruise along the Syvota islands (Agios Nikolaos, Mourtos and Gouroni), and then the boat takes you back to Corfu.

Other excursion options include a cruise to the island of Kefalonia, a cruise to the mainland of Albania, a combination of Parga (mainland) and the island of Paxos or a cruise to the islands of Ithaca and Lefkada.
