Right, because anyone comparing them would instantly see that apples are so superior to oranges.

Example Scenario 1: Oh, I think I'll eat an orange. *3 hours later* Ah, finally my orange is peeled and ready to be eaten, but now I've expended so much energy in preparing it that I can't lift the orange to my mouth or open and close my mouth so as to chew it. Woe is me.

Example Scenario 2: Oh, I think I'll eat an apple. *5 minutes later* Wow, that apple was both refreshing and nutritious, I think I'm developing super powers because of how great that, nay, all apples are.
