Where oh where is Mrs. Agnes?
Welcome to my web site. I first created
this site during a summer graduate class in August, 2003. I hope that you
enjoy it.
I am the middle child of five daughters and grew up in
Sibley, Iowa. I enjoyed band, choir. cheerleading and drama in high school.
I graduated from Briar Cliff College, Sioux City, Iowa with a Bachelor of
Science degree. My major was Physical Education with a minor in Biology
and Education. I was a cheerleader and played golf in college.
I earned my Masters in Teaching Leadership and Curriculum Design from North Park
University, Evanston, IL in 2001. I have also taken many courses outside
of my masters work in Physical Science, Ecology, computers, and learning.
I have coached Soccer for two of my four children for many years, taught
Religious Education and helped with the Women's Group at my church.
I enjoy traveling, reading, and baking. I love teaching students how
Physical Science relates to their real worlds.
