Thanks for visiting the website of the biggest, baddest, most insane Cannonball Run style race in the Southeast !!!
The 2008 race is now over !!!
The Damn the Torpedoes Challenge is a 300+ mile race that occurs every fall from Athens Ga to the coast of St Marys. This is for classic cars only. Built in 1976 or earlier. Previous DTT challenge cars are eligible as well.
A driver and navigator will leave an undisclosed start line in Athens and drive to several secret checkpoints until the finish line is reached in St. Mary's. The only rules are that you cannot get a ticket or use the Interstate Highways.
Winner according to legal standards, blah, blah, blah.
Cost is 150 dollars and limited to 50 entrants. We are now taking applications for 2009. Contact Glenn Stephens to be considered. Date/Time/and Start line location will be disclosed to paid participants. e-mail:gastephens@track-systems.com
