If you are thinking of buying a rabbit or you already have one and want to learn more than this page may help you a bit.

Make sure that before you purchase your rabbit that you have a cage suitable for the breed you are buying. This means that the cage should be large enough to support the size of your rabbit and its exercise needs. Ask your pet shop about the breed that you want to get so that you know about your rabbit before hand.

Rabbits are great pets to keep. However they have to be treated the right way to make sure that they don't bite, scratch or wriggle out of your hands. Don't scare your rabbit at any time as they will become skittish. Approach your rabbit with a calm voice then place your hand on the rabbit and lift it gently supporting it's back legs. Keep a firm grip incase your rabbit tries to jump out of your hands.

If you don't want to have baby rabbits then make your that you either only have one or both the same sex as they breed very readily.

You may decide to keep a guinea pig with your rabbit. Remember that some rabbits may become aggressive to guinea pigs and may injure them severely. If you want to try a guinea pig with your rabbit, choose a quite guinea pig and watch them together for a while to make sure that they don't torment each other.

Rabbits need a healthy diet. This diet includes greens such as lettuce, cabbage, green apples. They also needs carrots and enjoy veggies.

GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR PET !!
