Here I have used a 2 pound fishing weight as counter balance on the inside counterweight lever arm. Seems about right but I can easily file away at it to get it right. The ring clamp is temporary for now. I will eventually use bolts through the weight and square tubing.
This view is from the stub wing side and shows not only the crank, but also the cable conections. Note that there are two potential locations on which to attach the pusrob to aileron.
This is a real close up of the crank looking from outside the rib toward the fuselage. The nut holding the pushrod was just thrown on to get an attachment and movement check.
