Web Poll casts more doubts over unpopular Francis Merger

A recent poll of over 100 Saint Pat's supporters on this website has indicated that over 70% of Saint Pat's fans are against the proposed merger with dissolved First Division club St. Francis FC. Pat's fans have not been consulted at any stage of the merger process, which although not finalised has already resulted in the appearance of a St Francis crest on the Saint Pats jersey sleeve, an official change of club name to the unfeasibly long "Saint Patrick's Athletic Incorporating St. Francis FC" and a change of nickname to the "Dublin Saints".
