Karen, Lura and I, we go back a lot of years. Lura and I used to run Arabic bibles, Arabic Jesus videos, Arabic testimonial books and used clothes to Karen in Jericho, during the time when she was first started out.

It was a time during the intifada and not too many Believers wanted to handle Arabic Bibles etc. One printer I know of, quit printing Arabic material, because the stuff simply stopped moving.

It was during this time that we heard of a Hebron man who went to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ to his friends, and they sent his body back home to his parents in 4 pieces.

Anyhow, the word got out that we (Lura and I) still handled Arabic material. People began unloading their Arabic supplies on us left and right. During hard times, during a time of scarcity and lack … God provided us with abundance, which we shared along with Karen.

Many Believers had an attitude … “Karen who?” We believe it was because God was using a WOMAN!

Back in those days, it was Karen and her teenage son. Just the 2 of them living in Jericho and witnessing to the Palestinians; she didn’t have the support group that she now has today.

Now, God is using her to spread the Gospel not only in Jericho, but throughout Bethlehem, Hebron, Ramallah, and Gaza! Eddie
