An excerpt from a pastor friend’s newsletter:

Don't give to this man or his "fellowship"

Dear friends and supporters,

Watch the video at http://www.jerusalemonline.com/4israel7.asp and listen closely to what Rabbi Ekstein says.  Rabbi Ekstein is an Orthodox Jewish rabbi, not Messianic, who is exploiting Evangelical Christians and churches to the tune of over $90,000,000 (In case you can't count the zeros, that is 90 million dollars) per year.  He states in the video that giving from Christians to his "fellowship" is up 42% in the first quarter of 2009.  He also says that he doesn't give to missionaries.  What he doesn't say is that his funds are given to those who PERSECUTE the believers in Israel, all of whom he and other Orthodox leaders in Israel call "missionaries".

Giving from Christians to his "fellowship" is up 42%.  Giving to our ministry is down 32%.

I have spoken to leaders of large organizations and denominations who support Rabbi Ekstein and they all tell me that they know him and that he wouldn't do that.
They are duped.  What he says to Christians here in the US in English and what he says and does in Israel in Hebrew are totally opposite.

If Christians and churches would support true missionaries and ministries that ARE sharing the Gospel even by half as much as they support these persecutors of Messianic believers, no true ministry to the Jewish people would be under-funded.

If anyone reading this who has supported Rabbi Ekstein's "fellowship" in the past, please change your giving.  Give double to a ministry that is sharing the Gospel.
