An Outdoor Place to Play Chess (projcet #006)

The Hebrew language doesn’t have any curse words. They have to borrow such words from other languages such as Yiddish, Russian, English, etc. We are not trying to clean up or eradicate all the graffiti in Israel but we do paint over curse words, satanic and the occult symbolism, obscenities, swastikas, and other gross offensives.

In every case, we custom mix our paint to match the existing contrast as much as possible. Whenever and wherever we find the Holy Land trashed or defaced it’s always shocking and appalling.

When I seen the word ‘nigger’ painted on a wall, I think I felt a little of what a Jew must feel seeing a swastika painted on a wall in the Holy Land…after all these years, of all places, it’s now popping up in Israel.

But these are just cheap shots (fiery darts). We are winning the war! We are solders in God’s army, in full armor, bent on spreading the Gospel. We tread on serpents, quench fiery darts, tare down strongholds, whatever’s in our path. We’re on a mission. We’ve got a job to do. Our eyes are fixed on the mark of the high calling.
