Well we finally got the figures for the wedding travel expenses! The total package is costing $1,132.00 which is less than what Lura and my wedding cost over 2 yrs ago. The difference is that Lura handled our arrangement speaking Hebrew with an American accent v/s this time an Israeli did the negotiation. Think we got stuck with the ‘Tourist Prices’ or the ‘Rich America’s Special Prices’ (we have since wised up).

In a nutshell, Believers cannot get married in the Holy Land! The closest place is Cyprus. And this project is not about springing for a honeymoon or a wedding reception. It is the bare bone expenses incurred to and from the chapel.

Any frills, bells and whistles, are not included…such as wedding gown, rings, cake, etc.

Note: You would think a Marriage Package Deal would include both parties, NOT! One marriage package per person; 1 for bride & 1 for groom, that's why qty=2.
