Often while sharing the Bible we print out certain Bible scriptures in various languages. Or during a Bible study we may have to assist a person finding a particular book or scripture in an Arabic, Russian, German, French, Thai, Chinese, Spanish, Romanian, of Amharic Bible. We try to keep one of each of these Bibles on hand just for this purpose.

It would be nice and convenient if I could abbreviate the names of each book and their page numbers right in the index as I did in the below sample, but the Bible is considered a Holy book and laying it around any old kind of way or writing in it (including highlighting) is considered blasphemy and offensive.

Bible taps would do the trick! Although not exactly cheap, we could really use them on each of our reference Bibles.
