The Lord has provided a very nice house (half of a duplex) for us to rent. However, the landlord is trying to sell it! We are living month to month not knowing if we will have to move or not. It would be a wonderful thing if we were able to purchase this house. It would certainly save money in the long run, since right now, because of the war, housing prices are way down (for Israel). This same house was selling for $185,000. 3 years ago. Today it is going for $145,000. This is a good deal in Israeli terms as land is very expensive here!
Right now, we are paying $500.00 a month rent, plus the taxes, and the utilities. My neighbor who lives in the very same kind of house is paying $300. a month because he is buying his house.
We really don’t want to have to move – the last time cost about $3,000. just to move, it is another expense we want to avoid.
This is MORE THAN JUST A HOUSE – it is our headquarters. We have a guest room, which also doubles for storage when we are collecting clothes for the needy or sorting food packages. Our computers are here (teachings, website, etc.) plus loads of books, for distribution, or study, etc. It is used for meetings and for counseling and all the things a ministry needs.
