While last in the states, I came across some beautiful black little dolls in one of the Dollar Stores. Immediately 3 little girls came to mind who would just be tickled (not to death, not pink…hmmm), just tickled to have one.
I later thought about all the other little girls of color here in Israel and how excited they would be!
Wow, I can still remember when black dolls first came out and my baby sister (who now is 53) got one! It was so cool!
Man, you guys could do a car wash, yard sale, or some other type fund raiser and open up the flood gates!
Well, a couple of years have pass, and many people have brought us dolls of color which we gave to Ethiopian, Black Hebrew, Moroccan, Bedouin, and Arab little girls.
So, if any of you guys are coming to The Land or in the neighborhood, please feel free to bring us some more little black dolls.
