In spring of 2001, during my 1st visit to the Holy Land, I wanted Lura to baptize me in the Jordan. Although I’ve been sprinkled; Baptized in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost; and Baptized in Jesus’ name before…I couldn’t pass up being baptized just one more time (smile). I had to do the Jordan! Some of us are more percure than others.
Soon as we pulled up into the parking lot, ‘Wham’ we saw this bathroom wall type graffiti as depicted. Reported the notracity to the staff on duty, proceeded to be baptized, and we left assured that the problem would be taken care of.
In summer of 2002, Yacob and Karen visited Israel and us. They too wanted to do the Jordan. As we pulled into the parking lot ‘Wham’...still there! This time ‘they’ pointed out the notracity.
In the fall of 2002, Susan (Lura’s sister) visited Israel and us. She wanted to do the Jordan. ‘Wham’…still there!
Susan took the manager by the hand (smile) or was he just following her real close. Anyhow when she finally finished her show and tell session with him, the man looked somewhat scared for his job.
In November of 2002 when we visited the site again, to Baptize a couple more people…the problem had been fixed, thus I was able to post a before and after picture, another case closed.
No wonder satan just hates us ‘Do Gooders’.
