Our friends have been helping us with the Chess Club/Meeting Place. They have been excited about what the Lord is doing here and are actively involved. That involvement came with a price tag. All four tires on their car were slashed and it was the only car vandalized in the entire parking lot. They have orthodox neighbors and the message is clear.

This family of six is in dire straits financially, as Ali is struggling with the results of diabetes and has lost his business. They cannot afford insurance on their old car and they are having a difficult time feeding their children. They praise the Lord for every bit of food that comes to them and they are depending on Y’shua to meet their needs. They are believers and they are paying the price of being loyal to Y’shua in a society that actively fights against believers. They still need $400. to pay for the damage. If you want to help them pay for their tires, (or food, etc.) please send a donation for them and make a notation that it is for Ali’s family.

The page from the city newspaper mentions that Ali is known as a "man of peace" - they don't understand who would do such a thing to him.
We praise the Lord for their witness in the face of persecution! Pray they remain steadfast and thank the Lord for meeting their every need.
