We had a couple of visits at the storefront by 3 Dati prior to us heading north for a much need RR (rest and relaxation). The Dati asked a bunch of questions, looked around, and left.
Up north we decided to stay at a friend’s guesthouse in Beit Hillel, located about 3 miles east of Lebanon.
Well the first night wasn’t very quiet! The Hamas leader Sheikh Yassin had just been killed by the IDF, Lebanon was retaliating with gunfire and Israel was responding back. The first night and into the second day all we heard was ‘boom’ ‘boom’ ‘boom’. After that things settled down and we began our rest.
I used to feel guilty about taking a break until a friend told me “In the army it is mandatory that the soldiers get rest, its part of staying fit and ready.”
At the time I thought God provided us this rest only because it was way overdue. That too, but I should have known there was a bigger reason!
He allowed us to rest for what was to come! All out spiritual war, full blown, and in your face!
