Storefront Update!

A Black American Cherokee Indian Jew friend of mine and one of his so called wives just had a baby. Susan (my visiting sister in-law) whipped out her knitting needle and got busy making a couple of outfits and booties. Also the Hebrew congregation gave them enough used baby clothes for the next few years.

We were donated another chess set! Wow! It looks handmade!

In reference to the ’25 Chess Sets’ project, I mentioned a visiting Pastor arriving on March 1st who I hoped could lug them here with him from the states. Long story short, the chess sets arrived in Penn the same day Pastor/Missions Director Eric arrived here in Israel…too late!

Picking Eric up at Ben Gurion Airport, I got such an unbelievable parking spot that I just had to take a picture of it! Front row…center!

Eric was very impressed with the Storefront, prior to which we had only House Churches. Eric understood and understands, perhaps more than we, the magnitude of such boldness! We have come from the being ‘underground’ to being ‘in your face’.

When dropping Eric off in Jerusalem, we made a slight detour picking up the 1st edition to our newspaper, along with testimonial books and 100 Russian Bibles. We are gearing up for Storefront operations.

No one gives you ‘Free Water’ in the desert! WE DO! In fact all this free stuff is incomprehensive to people dropping by: A free place to play chess? Free use of a bathroom (clean, toilet paper, & soap)? Free coffee? Free tea? Free Bibles? Free books?
