Using Our New Baptismal Gowns!

We have a teenage girl who’s waited years for this day. The day when she’d be old enough to get baptized legally without parental consent! This was a big decision on her part because as a result she could find herself kicked to the curb, counted as dead by her entire family.

Also a young Arab (Bedouin) girl was baptized with her parents consent in fact her mother was present with us. But her mother was very concerned about concealing her daughter’s baptism from the Arab bus driver, because the penalty for denouncing Islam is death.

Recently in one of the territories, a new Arab believer’s body was cut into 4 pieces, packaged, and sent back to his family.

We also baptized an Israeli adult female, who while in-route, decided that today was the day! She didn’t even have a change of clothes with her!

Last but not least, we baptized a young Argentinean man who accepted the Lord just last night!

We had suggested that everyone eat breakfast before leaving home and to pack a lunch. We prayed for favorable weather days in advance. We decided to not only seal our prayers in Y'shua's (Jesus’) name, but to dare to expect.

Immediately we began realizing that our ‘expectation’ was a statement of our faith. When the weatherman predicted rain…this was not our expectation! And all the “what ifs” that rose up against our expectations, we choose to ignore. Taking it a step higher, we decided to expect a miracle!

The Israeli women and the Argentinean man baptized was not scheduled; two miracles!

It was very exciting ‘expecting a miracle’. We knew we were going to see one or get one; we had to be on the lookout. I mentioned that maybe we will see a dove descending! Cool!
