Sudanese refugees attempting to cross into Israel were not being killed by the Egyptian border police until the summer of 2007. Egypt only began using lethal force after being pressured into coming up with what appears to be a final solution. So now they’ve adopted on the Sinai border what’s called, “Egypt’s live-fire policy”.

The majority of these Sudanese refugees are Christians fleeing genocide. As blue black (forgive me if not politically correct) Christians seeking refuge in Israel, you could say they have “two strikes against them” (1.Christian 2. Black) thus it’s a miracle and answered prayers, that ANY were allowed in.

In sharing this section, hopefully you now know your Sudanese brothers and sisters in Christ, living here in The Land, a little bit better. The Christian Sudanese already have the Gospel per se… we (as a congregation) make sure they have Bibles, blankets, clothes, food (spiritual/physical), and lots of love! Lura and I rejoice in giving the girls, little black Dollar Store dolls!

The Sudanese living in Arad attend the local Messianic Congregation pastured by Yakim. We are like one big happy family, edifying and encouraging one another until that glorious day.

P.S.
The above gives you a small glimpse of the humanitarian aid side of what we do, but I still say: “GOOD – GOD = O”
