It was nice meeting his wife. She insisted on giving us some chocolate pieces of candy, and apologized for the apartment being so cold. She told and showed us that their heater unit wasn’t working.

Once again, here I go being moved by compassion, I asked K* to help her put what she just told us, down in writing.

The estimated repair cost is 5,000 shekels ($1,162.79 @ 4.3 exchange rate) which I will post under needs.

P.S.
I think the repair cost is a bit high, but I don’t know! In a case like this, no way would I just hand over 5,000 shekels. If someone, a group, or a church wants to help this elderly Jewish couple out…I will oversee the repairs, take a few pictures, and e-mail receipts.

Also, I realize that the poor will be with us always and we can't solve all of Israels problems. But I wanted to share with you how God put this couple in our path.
