On April 5, 2009, Glover and Forest Whitaker were given a chieftancy title in Imo State, Nigeria. They were named chiefs among the Igbo community of Nkwerre, by HRH Eze Dr. Chijioke Jeki Okwara IV. Glover was given the title "Enyioma" which means a good friend of Nkwerre.
