Free Months = 1 Time Membership Fee
Last year (April 2007 – April 2008) I welcomed about 225 guest of which I played no more than 50 games. Of the 50 opponents I had games with only 6 became full members. Thus I received 2 free months membership per person (2x6=12 free mos.)
I think more would have joined but they only played me, and I had a lot going on, being only able to make a move every day or so. As a result it must have been boring and a bad experience.
Well, I’m on a quest to get my next free year and hopefully this Welcome Wagon idea will keep some of you guys around!
As a full member, you too can welcome guest and earn free membership months!
Tournaments
Tournaments are big fun. That’s what this site is mainly about. As a guest, you are allowed to play in 2 (maybe 3) tournaments. As a full member, I am allowed to create 1 guest type tournament per month. The first chance I get I will send you an invitation to one. It may take a few days before starting, depending on enrollment. Remember: you’re not obligated to participate; you can always decline, dropout, whatever.
