My friends EDDIE and LURA BECKFORD (Persecuted believers from ARAD, ISRAEL) were in the United States for vacation/church speaking. While in Atlanta, I was able to find them housing, have them speak to our Women on Mission group at Mount Vernon Baptist, speak at our Tuesday Night Discipleship Fellowship and show off Jesus Loves You Jewish star t-shirts at various restaurants around Atlanta! Eddie and Lura shared what happened in Arad after I endured almost two weeks of harassment while trying to distribute their Gospel newspapers. Apparently the commotion caused by the harassment created so much curiosity, PEOPLE started coming to their MESSIANIC INFORMATION CENTER wanting the Gospel newspapers and an additional 1,500 were distributed! Lura called from Los Angeles, California to tell me Eddie challenged the students at a Christian school to reach out and gave them Jesus Loves You t-shirts!
