I remember Be'ersheeba; that's where we ended up when we took a wrong turn on the way to Arad - the only thing I don't like about it is that it is closer to Gaza and all the nonsense. I love you!

Thank you very much for the updates. I am praying for you guys every day. I know the Lord will work things out for good. I studied the book of Esther this week, because it's Purim. It reminded me of the old joke how all Jewish holidays can be summed up by the following words "They tried to kill us, we won, let's eat!" Funny, but there is an important lesson to learn. Nothing can stop the will of God from happening, and God always works things out for good for those who love him and wish to do his will.

Thank you for keeping us informed, we sure pray for you here. I admire your courage wearing your shirt with the cross. Cor is in Romania and comes back this week. I fell off my bicycle a week ago and broke my elbow so life has been a bit complicated. I couldn't type blind for some days which slowed me down a lot but it's going ok now. That is nothing in comparison with what you are experiencing. We pray too that you can go to the U.S.A. I understand people asking you if you can't go and live in another area of Israel but that is hardly possible, what would the chess players, etc. etc. etc. do without you? You have a ministry in Arad. Has Rebeccah had her baby? I thought you might mention the shooting in the yeshiva in Jerusalem. Are the students there among those who harrass you? It was portrayed here as innocent children in a school but I have an idea that that is not the whole truth.

Bob S*, the evangelist from Virginia here. I am now back home after a wonderful mission trip to Arad. By God's grace, I can truly say that with His help, I accomplished the mission God sent me to Arad for. I truly enjoyed my stay in Arad and count it a blessing to have met you folks. Just want to say a note of thanks to the following. First of all, Lura and Eddie; what can I say? You two have truly been a blessing to me. You both are an inspiration and encouragement to me. Thank you for all the help you have been to me on this trip. Thank you for letting me stay at your house. Sorry we could not spend more time with each other, but what time was spent was precious….

I will be praying that you can come to Virginia next month as scheduled. You have a place to stay with me. I will try to schedule some services for you. As for the rest of you, if you are close to or in my area, please stop by to pay me and my family a visit. Keep in touch. I want to hear reports of what is going on in Arad. It is a spiritual battle against the projet for winning Arad for the Lord. As you are the persons who resist, it is normal the opposition turns against you.

I took a picture of your photo of Eddie wearing the Tallit when I was in Arad. I then made copies of it and gave it to our little prayer group, so that we can pray for you both. I am only sorry that I didn't get one of you both together.

The Lord gave me a picture yesterday of a resistance movement in New Zealand - a small but effective band of prayer warriors, challenging the status quo about Israel in this country. May that underground resistance shake the very foundations of the nation.

The following letter is from Don, who has not been to Arad, but what he says is profound, so I included it.

I am sooo grateful not only for your sacrifice and that of other Messianic Jews throughout Israel but also for keeping folks like myself informed and up to date as to what's happening in Israel (personally, locally and nationally) which affects all our lives, as the prophets have revealed. As I forward this note of thanks back to you, many people of my growing distribution will likewise receive your update. More and more are informing me of their appreciation and of hearing what's going on in the world (besides the seemingly never ending drivel of the American Presidential election, sundry scandals, or pop star escapades etc.) on which the predominately atheistic Media seems to focus and seldom reports important Spiritual news such as yours. Like your own testimony, the harassment you and Eddie and others receive provide a nucleus around which those that were previously unaware become more interested and desirous to become involved, if only by interest in more actively pursuing God themselves. Your efforts are working; indeed God will see that they DO work and do not go unheeded.
