    Comments from participants:

"I have just come back from a wonderful first experience of the composers'
workshop. ...more... An inspiring week!" Alan Byers, 2006

"Very inspiring and the new location (Sherborne School) was ideal" Bret, 2005

"Delighted by your request to jot down, for the web page, some newcomer's impressions of the 2004 Canford composers' workshop, I have waited till now to let the various elements come into focus: they are atmosphere, participants, leadership, musical material, chronicle of events. The best general impression I drew from all this was the heartening sense of not being alone, in pursuing the path of an amateur composer." David (2004).

"2003 was my first Canford Workshop, which I found totally inspiring. The idyllic, creative atmosphere along with team spirit helps the course members achieve musical and personal growth, and make new friends. Malcolm Singer has created a haven for composers, with truly inspiring results." Bret (2003).
