i fetch up on this barren shore with concrete trees and revolving doors and am met by people with entry forms and held to walls and marched down halls and don't try anything, son, i know your type, security is on call. every time i come here they put me on a different train and the further on i go the less and less it looks the same as it did last time around but they say i'm homeward bound and they drop me off in the middle of nowhere at the end of the line in an empty cell not lost but found not lost but found. by this time i'm weary and so lie down to close my eyes but find a hair i recognise and instantly am asleep and go to a dreamy place far away, forget to forget a face, fall from the warm embrace and wake up on this barren shore
