Well, its been a busy month. Holidays, birthdays, and many parties for my family. Now I'll start working tomorrow, which I'm looking forward to due to the whole "pay" thing that comes along with it. I have spent a lot of money this holiday season! Wicca-wise, I've been working hard on the Herbs section in my BOS, but it's taking a very, very long time. In fact, I'll get back to that right now.

*huge gasp*
Woah, breathing space. I just finished my last exam (and by "just" I mean "12 hours ago"). I hope Samhain went well for everyone -- Yule coming up! I've always been a little confused around this time of year. I mean, I love celebrating on the 21st, and mistletoe, christmas trees and presents make me happy...but it's just so confused with the Christian version of Christmas that sometimes it's hard to tell the difference. I guess I could go on a rant about how we were here first, but you've always got the History of Witchcraft page for that. It does kinda boil down to the same thing (not presents, not Satan...uh, I mean Santa). It's about spending time with people you love, etc. etc. I know you've heard it all before, but without religion, that's what it would be. Think about it -- thousands of years ago, people were going "oh crap, I have to spend months with these people until spring comes". So, why not kick it off with some good cheer? And that's what they did. It was my birthday last month (November -- scorpio!!) and I had a lot of fun. Now, November is sort of a gloomy month. It rains. It's grey. People get grumpy about winter. I guess Scorpios fit in there pretty well :) So, now that I'm done exams, I plan to relax, have fun...and try to not stress over things, which I love to do waaaaay too often. As my Wiccan friend told me near exam time: "Relax! Remember, Wiccans are one with nature. Nature is calm!!". Well, to which I replied "not always", but you get the point.
Anyway, whatever your religion, have a happy holiday!

You'll have to forgive the long gap -- I've been swamped with work, and I can barely do anything because my free time = 0. See? I'm starting to talk in equations, no thanks to Calculus and Chemistry. Anyway -- Samhain coming up soon! As in, two days! It's my favourite holiday, for sure. There's something about how the air feels and smells that night that drives me crazy! I love it. I really need to go shopping tomorrow or Saturday, because I want to make my Halloween Witch's Brew (a drink I love and to make on this special day!). I'm also having a few friends over on the Sunday, one of them is another Wiccan and the other is my best friend (she's not religious). Okay, I really have to run off because I have a French test tomorrow!

Changed the main page: text, font as well as size (but they're all very small changes!). Also deleted the Do's and Don't page because I wasn't a big fan...and worked on a new page...it's gonna be a suprise! It's not ready to be put up on the site yet, because it's lacking something, it's just so full of information it looks boring (sort of like the old History of Witchcraft page. I think that's about it...enjoy!

Fixed a spelling mistake on the awards page...*shudder*. Did I really need to tell you that? No. But I'm also just popping in to say I'm alive and well, although very, very busy. And I'm working on upgrading my BOS (Book of Shadows), which was pretty disorganized before...and I'm also writing it all out, no more printing! Well, maybe I'll do some for the title pages...blessed be!

Okay! So I worked all day on the History of Witchcraft page, and I think it's an improvement...I'm not sure if I'll stick with the background and font, but the information rocks, I did a lot of research on it, and there are pictures too! Hope it's more aesthetically pleasing now...and I hope it answers some questions for you!

Okay, no changes on the History of Witchcraft page yet...in fact, it's sort of long, I'm thinking of just taking it out. I did change the front page a bit, taking out links and pictures at the bottom, and adding a cool spinning pentacle at the top! Oh, and I technically updated my blog page as well, but I do that frequently, so that doesn't count. Feel free to check it out!

Yay for changes! I wanted to put a nice sparkling star background up, but it was too distracting and you couldn't read what was on the page. So I had to scrap that idea. However, I did change a few things on the Zodiac page! Also, I took away the Charmed page. It just didn't fit anymore, and I didn't want anyone to think this was a fake magic site, promoting the kind of magic you see in that tv show. That doesn't mean that I still don't love the show dearly! It still is my favourite, by far. Well, I did experiment with a lot of things, but those are the only changes I got to today. I hope I'll be able to spice up the History of Witchcraft page soon enough! That will be my next task. Maybe add some pictures, make in more interesting to read, etc. Until then!

Wow, what a horrible week. Only two updates, both being on the front page. I added a little exerpt from an article I found on the internet, and I changed the "links" bar to a maroon instead of red. Maroon is the colour of Scorpio, so I thought it would suit me nicely.

As you've probably noticed, a huge change to the main page! I love Jonathan Earl Bowser and his "Goddess Art" (taken with permission!). You can check out the webpage here. Also, I've deleted the Charmed Banners page. I think that phase has passed- just with the banners, I still love Charmed! Also, the News page was re-named Updates!, which I think suits it better. Otherwise, that's about all the updates! I'm not sure what I plan on doing next. I'm open to suggestions!

Okay, some new updates (finally!). I totally re-made the Elements page, which took me the better part of the evening, and I also fixed up the Imbolc picture on the Wheel of the Year page. Then I added a poem I found on the internet to the Zodiac page. Oh right, and there's a funky new Witchy Ways logo on the front page. I think that's about it, hope you enjoy!

No school today! Wohoo! But of course, this gives my parents another excuse to make my life harder than it is...*sigh*. Apparently I'm only allowed two hours on the computer per day (on weekends). Well, this rule will last about a week, but it still is annoying. It means I won't get to update at all! But fear not, I've updated the Wheel of the Year page with more info and new pictures. I need to fix the picture on the Imbolc page, but since I have no time, you'll have to bear with me for a bit. Hope you guys like it!

Woah! I haven't updated in awhile! Sorry about that, guys! Anyway, to catch up, here's what's going on:
I started school, and this year...ugh, my classes aren't that great. I don't have great teachers or great classes...especially in English, which makes me sad, because it's my favourite subject, and my teacher isn't very good. I mean, she's nice and all, but she's not as hilariously awsome and sarcastic as my teacher last year.
My friend from last year is switching schools (she posts in my guestbook as "Antigone")...I'll really miss you Jay!!
And now for the fun news...It's my birthday on November 19th!!. Haha, I know that was important to all of you. It's an awsome time of the month, but I always feel overpowered and I lose my temper really, really easily in November!
Oh...the site, riiiight! Well, as you know, I've been super-busy with school, which gives me 0 time to work on it. But fear not! I'm not about to give up on my baby of 4 years. The pages on Sabbats will be updated...hopefully have by the time you read this, and if not, I'm on the internet doing it as you read it!

Okay, way for angelfire to make me angry! If you read the front page, you'll understand. But I'll post it here too, because sooner or later I'm going to change the front page...
I go away for four days, and look what happens. Those of you who read my News section will know how angry I am at angelfire already. And then it pulls this trick! An advertisment for love spells and hexes! Argh!! Seriously, grrr. Just ignore it. I did not put it there, and it's very annoying!! Plus, since it's an advertisment put on here by angelfire (well, I guess that means somebody decided to look at my page after three years) I can't take it off, because it's not on my html. Grr!!
Well, now that you're updated on what I put on the front page, let me update you on what's been going on in my life. I went back-to-school shopping today, and I've ordered the books I need for school which starts on September 8th for me. I realized that this site is practically three years old! That's awsome. Thank-you all so much for visting, especially all my friends! I wonder how you go about getting a domain- this site will soon be too big! I'll be taking the dolls down next, I think- as well as extending the sabbat page. More writing, less pictures! I wonder how different this site will look by next year... :)

Well! I think I wrote here earlier that my site doesn't have much except for the charmed banners page, but I take it back! In fact, there have been some major changes in the past few weeks...firstly, I've added two new pages, "Magickal Books" and "For Your Site" (yes! I finally got banners made for this site!). As well I've changed some backgrounds and changed the zodiac page. Also, the main colours changed quite a bit! I do love this site dearly, but one day I want to get my own domain...

Right. Scratch that idea. You see, this angelfire is just so small! I can't go a single day without exceeding my bandwidth limit! It's horrible! I'm going to be taking away my wiccan dolls, I believe. But the problem is the charmed banners. What do you think- should I keep them? Should I delete them? Grr..won't my site be utterly boring if I do so, though? *sigh* maybe shopping tomorrow will get my mind of this.

Well I was planning to joyfully announce that I've updated the "Charmed Banners" and "Charmed Info" section quite a bit- only my pesky little brother stole my flashlight and killed the joyful mood. Boys will be boys. Anyway, now Rose is sporting a lovely strawberry-blond doo, what do you think? She really does get bored of her hair colour easily. She's like me. Only I put highlights in it (I've had blond, copper and red- and one point, all at once!). Well, right now I'm going back to my birthcolour- brunette. I also took away that "books I'm currently reading" thing. It was annoying me. The inspiration came from this awsome website- Magickal Musings. Anyway, hope you like the updates!

I'm starting to think that it would be a lot better to have my own website- without having angelfire here...I mean, it's been great, but I'm starting to get mad at HTML. It's pretty tough stuff and although I've mastered most of it, there's always new stuff being made. I love my website dearly, but it's not too appealing to the eye, you know? I wonder if I'm going to get a domain of my own. What do you think?

Would you look at that? Summer already! And another year of school gone! You might have noticed that I've put the date and time of when I started writing this little entry...I've decided that instead of deleting all my entries, I'll keep about ten of them at a time, and I'll put the date- so you'll know when I wrote it! I'm currently working on my BOS- man, are there a lot of herbs out there! I've got about 20 pages of properties, and another 20 with the folk names of each one! It's good to know a few common folk names of herbs, flowers etc. (for example, if someone said they needed sweetwood, you'd know that they meant cinnamon!) I'm going to be pretty busy for the next two weeks, and then from July 14th on it should be more relaxing!

Wow! Summer's almost here! Funny how time flies! I've had some trouble with the bandwidth size on the site. (According to the Angelfire definition, bandwidth is "the amount of data that is used to transfer a member's Web page (including the HTML, graphics, text, sound files, etc.) from the host server to the person viewing the page. If the contents of the page equals 1 MB, and the page is viewed 100 times in one day, the total bandwidth would be 100 MB".) So, since I know that my charmed banner page will by far exceed any other bandwidth-wise (because of all the pictures) I decided to split it into two pages (now there is a "Charmed Banners Page Two" at the bottom of the "Charmed Banners" page). Hope this clears things up!
