Here you can meet our wonderful breeding pairs and meet the newest additions to our lovebird family. They are all so sweet we just wanted to show them off to the world. We hope to have new pictures up on a regular basis, depending on how busy we are with our babies.
Whisper and Indigo
Our violets...Whisper is a white faced violet and Indigo is a violet blue. Its hard to capture the violet on camera but they are just stunning.
Cagney and Lacey Our newest additions to our family. Lacey is a lacewing, Cagney is not a female ha ha but I thought the names went well together and he is a blue pied. Storm and Piper Storm is a Slate split to Cinnamon and Piper is a blue pied. Peaches and Cream Peaches is a normal green split to Cinnamon and Cream is a Creamino. Tango and Cash I do believe that these are two females. We have just acquired Tango (orange faced) and Cash (normal green). They seem to be inseparable and we havent tried to breed them yet cause they are just new. Josephine and Napoleon
We acquired these normal green fischers from a lady who was downsizing her breeding stock a few months ago. They are just old enough to breed this year and havent yet. They came all the way from Germany and are sexed.
These two have not bred yet either as we have just gotten them a few months ago. They picked each other and seem to be madly in love.
Buddy and Holly have just finished breeding for the season. Holly and Buddy are not together right now because Holly was injured in a fight with another hen. She is healing nicely but Buddy is very lonely without her. They will be together soon though.
We named them Pepe and Celine cause we bought them from a French lady and she hadnt given them any names. They are sitting on babies right now. Three have hatched so far and two more to go.
Glider and Queenie are a new pair, we have had Glider for about two years now and he is the sweetest little boy ever. He wasnt hand fed but is still so gentle and never bites. He used to be paired up with Cassie who you will meet later but she is taking a break. Gliders mommy and daddy were a dutch blue and yellow pied. Queenies mommy and daddy were both lutinos. They seem to like each other so far thought hey havent been together long.
Rainbow and Princess Rainbow and Princess are the most beautiful birds I think. They have wonderful babies and are done breeding for this year. They have already had two clutches for 2001.
Buddy & Jade
Buddy is our first breeding lovebird we ever had. When we bought him he was sitting on eggs with a lutino and we bought the lutino, babies and all. Now he is paired up with Jade, a new member of our family. They just had babies and are done breeding for the season.
