Team Hardcore
Well this was the big day and we had to get this coaster finished otherwise we wouldn't be
able to go to Canada's Wonderland. So Blayne and Shane came over with a bunch of stuff to
make our rollercoaster, which by the way was decided that we would make a rollercoaster made
out of pasta which noone at our school has ever tried ( we now know why ), and me and suzanne
supplied the pasta,
So to meet the requirements that was given to us to make the rollercoaster we had to cut the
board we had down a few inches or so. So I grabed the board and said I would do it and ran out
to the garage and started to saw at it ... . hey I never said I was any good at sawing things.
(Shane complaining at me about how I can't cut things in a straight line 0_o)
Thinking that it would be better for me to not do anymore sawing Suzanne and Shane decide
that it would be better if they fixed up the back support for the rollercoaster onto the base.
After the base and back support was on the coaster we moved everything down to the basement
where we had more room to work and create!
I know its hard to do but if you can manage to look away from shane and look behind him you
can see that either Blayne or Suzanne ( I can't remember who ) came up with the idea to
make loops inbetween the wires which would be the support for the pasta tracks. (Okay now you
can go back to looking at shane and his buff bod ^_~)
AH HA! The first piece of pasta is placed on the hill of the coaster! This is truely a special moment!
This is that exact same special moment but with me in the picture ;)
I get to secure the first part of pasta to the track with hot glue! *sniffle sniffle* I'm so happy.
Well soon after we ran out of hot glue so Suzanne, Shane and I ran out to the store to get some
more glue while Blayne held down the fort. While we were at the store Shane was looking around
and out from the corner of his eye noticed something shimering, he looked over and there it was!
Not another one in sight either, it was just sitting there! It was a sticker but not just any old sticker,
it was the greatest sticker of them all! We soon named the sticker Hardcore Ed, the mascot of the
team! We also went in a few other stores where Shane also bought the power glove and two
mouse traps. Which would both soon come in handy.
So once we got more glue we continued on with adding more and more pasta to the hill.
( In the picture you can also notice that we also started to make a loop for the coaster and you
can see down at the bottom the tip top of Hardcore Ed and to the right of him a telephone cable marker flag
which we pulled out of the ground when we were coming back from the mall.
