A Talk With God
"I need a miracle" I sighed, "It's so empty here in my heart, I'm going crazy! I don't care about my life anymore. Who am I? I don't even remember."
I thought I was just calling down an angel, but instead I heard, "Don't put on the camoflauge to fit in." Jesus whispered, "When your spirit gets weak, I will rescue you. That's the promise I made."
"That's written on my heart," I answered hesitantly, "it's just hard to stay a Christian if you get swept under the influence of the world."
"Then let me be your soul tattoo."
"I don't know, can I run to you whenever I need to?"
"Whenever you need somebody."
"Will Youbemy friend?"
"I already am."
"Lord, if I do this, I want you to use me! I don't want to be a helpless Christian."
"I will use you" He answered, "you aren't helpless."
"What about when people kick me down?"
"Let me be the one you come to, I'll help you start to fly."
"What about when the world puts me on the last flight out?"
"If you will submit to me with all of your heart, you will come and live with me forever."
"Lord, my heart is empty, and when people ask me about my heart, I want to be able to say God is in this place, will you come in and fill it?"
"Yes my child, I will."
