Peter Gammons- Dan, what are your expectations for your team's first year in the BFML?
Dan Driffill- To be honest, I'm very hopeful that we'll be above .500 That's our initial goal. I think it could happen.
PG- How are you feeling about the Expansion Draft?
DD- I'm really excited, there is going to be a lot of quality players available that can step right in here and perform.
PG- Have you thought about who you'd like to hire as the First Manager in the history of the Hollywood Stars?
DD- I have given some thought to the situation and we've contacted some people but we're not at liberty right now to discuss names.
PG- How do you feel about playing in the US West?
DD- If I could pick a division to play in, this would be it. I think I can step right in and compete with the likes of Chicago and Waco. Maybe I'm getting ahead of myself, I'm not that good.
PG- What are your plans for the Amatuer Draft?
DD- I certainly don't plan on trading our pick or the fans back in Hollywood will try to take me out. I'd deal it for perhaps a quality #1 starter or a flat out Stud prospect. I don't think anyone would deal that though.
PG- Any final thoughts about the BFML?
DD- I'm just really excited to get started. This league is very impressive, lots of good GM's and unbelievavle articles and a very good website. The Commish has made this one of the best leagues out there in my opinion. I'm glad to be a part of it.
