Anyone want to meant my friends? I promise they won't bite ... well, most of them won't! **grins** Seriously, I have known some of these guys and gals an entire life time! They've become some of the best friends a girl could have. Sure we're not perfect and we get into our squabbles, but they've always been there in the end. So let me just stop rambling and let you get to reading!

Friends from the past:

  • Liz D ~ Oh my. What a girl she is! She's been my friend ever since we were born! lol. Sounds crazy, but it's true. My mom and her mom used to "hang out" a lot. And we used to play for hours upon end. I can still remember when her sisters and I played "statue" (long story!) and Nintendo all day. Our moms had to rip us away from the tv screen! haha. But she's such a sweetie. She always manages to make a person smile and gives great advice too! We don't get to see each other a lot, but we try and email when we can. It's always interesting and fun to read our emails because put together, we almost sound like a soap opera! She's got her secrets and I've got mine. We share and give advice and then laugh! Love ya' Liz!

  • Alicia T. ~ And where would I be without my girl Alicia? I've know this crazy girl for 11 years. We talk on the phone all the time. She's my entertainment when I'm feeling down. All I have to do is call her up and she can make me laugh with her constant stories of her crazy sister and her ever-revoloving crushes and boyfriends. She's also a great listener and true best friend. I think I'm even popular up at her school. Everyone knows or has heard about me because she's always showing my picture to everyone! haha. I love her to death. So much so that we already promised each other that we're gonna be each other's maids of honor when we get married ... though I'm still betting that I'm getting married first! (Right Alicia?) And I'm NOT a turtle who's had her wheaties today! More like a rabbit multiplying by the hour. HAHA! But GOOD LUCK in the USAF.

Friends from school:

  • Librette T ~ My bad-ass girl from high school! She's the one that kept me sane throughout my senior year (especially during English! all those term papers ... *phew* it's no wonder we didn't all die from carpal tunnel in that class!) . She's definately a character! She's my girl who I can fight with and still love. Supposedly, however, I'm a "hater" as she calls me. I'm always teasing this girl about how short she is (look, I found someone shorter that ME. Now that's an accomplishment!). But we're still good friends and I'll always be there for her. Good luck at Wittenburg sweetie!

  • Katie V ~ Katie was my very first friend in high school. We still remember what we said to each other on that scary first day: "You're not in the band, are you?" *laughs* Ms. tall and skinny was our "candy" seller through freshman year and our magazine supplier too. She has a million and one ear piercing and still wants more! She's got a great sense of fasahion and, like me, wears a gold ring on every finger! That's my kind of girl!

  • Raven T ~ Raver Daver: She's the mean one ... not really. But I like to tease her about it! What can I say about Raven? Besides the fact that she's a sweetie with a huge heart, I guess nothing. She's a good listener and gives really good advice. She's always around to lend a helping hand ... and supply us with candy for class! K-13 rocks!

  • Ali F ~ Ali is my quiet friend. You guys think I'm quiet? Wait until you meet Ali. She's more quiet than me! She's really nice though. We had a lot of fun in study hall junior year making "blonde jokes" about Pammy. Have fun at XU and give me a call when you get those frat boys in line Big Al!

  • Jason W ~ Look, it's the first guy I've mentioned on my list! Jason is just something else. I can't explain it. He's too peppy and happy all the time! He has this contagious smile and loves to make others feel better. I kinda evy him for that! Big J and Phil are my boys. Just gotta love 'em. By the way Big J, did you ever kick "Dan's" butt for me? And now that I'm free, why don't you call ? lol!

  • Phil N ~ Awwww. I miss him! You should see what he wrote in my yearbook. He's such a sweet heart! A lot of people write this boy off, but I still love him. He's my food class buddy! Intelligent and somewhat spontaneous are great words to describe him. He just doesn't apply himself in school. But to anything else, he usually gives it his all! :) He's Pimpin' Phil in his 'lil "g-car" ... though he doesn't believe it ::lol:: The gene didn't pass you boy. You're just as cool as your brothers and I love ya' for it! Chicken heads and foods class forever!

  • Jackie L ~ She's one of my good friend from UC. We have struggled through math, econ, and "ss" together. She's really outgoing and a sweetie. We always try to enroll in the same classes since no one else "likes us" (don't ask). Down with Pop and Moe, right Jack? haha

AKPsi Friends / School Friends:

Yes, I'm in a FRATERNITY (it's co-ed!) where I've met a lot of very interesting and fun people.

  • Pooja B. ~ She's my girl from UC. It's amazing how we meet people around here. Oddly enough, we met at orientation and found out we're enrolled in the same major and scholarship program! What a quinky-dink. haha. She and I also pledged Alpha Kappa Psi together last year. Pooj is a cool chica from Canton. Always stay sweet girl ... and we gotta make a road trip and/or go somewhere for Spring Break sometime!

  • Chad H. ~ The 'official' door holder. No, I'm just kidding. I swear this boy never gets mad. He's such a cool person to be around and is such a sport. I still can't believe he drank all that water from a vase in Chicago. Talk about craziness! Chad gets along with everyone and makes everyone around him feel welcomed. How much sweeter can you get?

  • Dennis S. ~ The four of us, along with the "disappearing pledge" rushed Winter 2002 with AKPsi. It's no wonder I'm not insane associating with all these people. hehe. But Dennis is sweet; kinda grows on a person. He can always make me smile; whether he was waiting with a hug or some smart-ass response, he's a really good friend. Between him and Chad, they're both wanna-be white boy rappers. I'm seriously beginning to believe both of them have more black than white in them! ::lol:: Good luck in the Marine Corps D! Go kick some ass over there ;)

  • Vicky R. ~ She's definately a life saver when it comes to programming. Wow. Always willing to drop everything and go out with us to lunch or dinner. And I think I've finally gotten her addicted to 5th Amendment! She's a great friend who anyone can talk to and she actually understand what you're trying to tell her! Wow, that's a hard concept to grasp, but if you knew her, you'd understand.

  • Thadd S. ~ "Stop laughing!" The first time I met him, my first thought was "Why exactly do they call him Sally the Cat?"; then I quickly changed that question to "Why is he always laughing?". Thadd, the loudest man I've ever known. He can definatelly raise some eyebrows with his antics. Gotta love him though. ((And you shall die laughing!!))

  • Bob S. ~ Yeah, I just met Bob, but I think he was my favorite pledge throughout the winter 2003 rush quarter, even if he still calls me Helen. (*ahem!*) Maybe it's the whole "asian connection" we have going on. After all, he is my "asian fantasy" ... right BB? ;) You know how girls can say "adorable cute" about some guys, that's Bob. We shall make it through! ((Quick Quiz: Name all the pledge ed assistants))

  • Kelly R ~ Kelly is the tallest girl I think I've ever met. (But that's not saying much since I'm so darn short! haha) Strong willed and funny to boot! She's always buying pizza and hanging out in the lounge with us discussing "AKPsi things" that can really make a person laugh so hard their tummy hurts. :o)

Friends from the 'Net:

  • Mark & Jan J ~ The biggest "kids" (at heart) I've ever met from the UK! Congratulations on Lucy. Bring her for a visit you guys! We wanna see the new addition to the family.

  • Mike P ~ He's my Cleveland boy! He's a sweetie. You can see his picture in the gallery too. Great advice giver and a great listener! If you have guys problems, ladies, go to him! He'll make you feel like the most important thing around and smash your dude to pieces (figuratively, that is!).

  • Brett B ~ I really don't know how I started chatting with this boy, but it's a trip talking with him. He just a good convesationalist. Can talk to him about anything and he's pretty honest in what he tells you. Great characteristic I wish I could instill in a few people I know. *ahem*

And to all the others I didn't mention, you know I still love ya and value your friendships. This list was just getting way too long for me! 'Til then...
