The lock of the week for Week Two comes to you from the hapless football town of Detroit, MI! The somehow always pathetic Lions will be hosting the Aaron Rogers-led Green Bay Packers and you only have to give up 3 points. Not such a bad deal. All anyone had to do was ask me and I could have told them that Rogers is a good QB. Why all the white knuckles in Green Bay? Or was that just an overblown fabrication of the insufferable Tony Kornhiser? Will somebody please throw him off MNF? He makes watching the game a challenge.
Pick #2Here is where you should be careful. Last week, the only pick I got right was the Lock Of The Week. So take this pick and the third pick with a grain of salt. I am going to pick the Steelers for the 2nd week in a row. I don't have much confidence in the Brownies until they wake up and realize they should be starting Brady Quinn (you heard it here). Trust me, I'm usually right about quarterbacking. Anyway, the Browns defense is likely to have a tough time with the Steeler offense and I will hope that Braylon Edwards will continue his subpar performance on the field (although a bit unlikely). Maybe he should conecentrate on catching footballs instead of speeding down highways in Ohio at 120mph. Just a thought.
Pick #3
The number three pick is the Saints over the Redskins and getting one point. I am not impressed with the Redskins and it looks like perhaps maybe Drew Brees has regained the form that produced his share of winning seasons. We'll see. Either way, Jason Campbell is always an asset to the opposing team. How long before Colt steps in? Sooner rather than later is best if you are a Redskins fan...
