(Added Jan 22, 09) As many of you know the Starz had a Moonlight Bowl Fundraiser at Bowl Aire Lanes on Saturday, the 17th. From the raffles and participants of our event we were able to raise $1805.00. We want to extend our thank you to all of those that helped us make this a success. The coaches would also like to mention that we appreciate the great job the young girls and parents did to help run the fundraiser.

(Added Dec 3, 08) We have set practices for all age groups. Check the calendar for dates and times for Dec, Jan, Feb and March at the All Starz Sports Complex in Loves Park, IL. Follow this link to their website. There is a link called "Directions" where you can get a map so you can find it.

(Added Nov 17, 08) Just a reminder to all parents, The first installment for the membership fees is now due. You can either mail payment to Jerry Garbe at 1703 Fairvuew Dr, Beloit Wi, 53511 or if you want, you can call Jerry at 608-931-4196 or your coach to let us know how you want to handle this. All phone numbers are on the team pages for each age group. The first payment should be at least half of the membership fee. Thank you Jerry
(Added Nov 7, 08) We are still talking to the Beloit College, Beloit Memorial Highschool and Jerry was hoping to hear back from Hendricks Development Group. They have promised us the use of a facility.

(Added Sept 7, 08) At the end of August, on behalf of the Beloit Womens FastPitch Association, Jerry Garbe and Tom Brewster went to the Milton High School and donated $1000 to the school district to show their appreciation for the use of Schilburg fields for the Early Bird and Summer Slam Tournaments.

(Added Sept 7,08) Our tryouts this past August for the 2008-09 season was very sucessful. We were able to fill the 10U, 12U, 14U and 16U teams. We are still looking for more players to add to some of these teams. We are still considering building a 18U team if there is enough interest. All interested players should give Jerry Garbe a call (608-931-4296) and let him know if you are interested in playing.
(Added Sept 7, 08) The Greater Beloit Visitors Bureau has given us another $2500 Jet Grant again this year for the Summer Slam Tounament to cover our expenses from this past summer. This money is very useful for our upcoming tournaments next year.
(Added Sept 7, 08) Tuesday night, Sept 2, the Beloit City Council awarded Tom Brewster and the 14U girls team with a certificate of recognition for their great season and their 1st place finish in the rec league. Congratulations from the association for a great job well done girls.
