This webquest will help you to learn more about the first civilizations of  Sumeria, Babylonia, & Assyria.  Click on the links to help you complete this quest.

By the end of this quest you should be able to answer all the questions of any work sheets assigned and to complete a final project.

LINK # 1 links you to the BRITISH MUSEUM which will give you a LOT of information about the Assyria, Babylonia, and Sumer.  A lot of links through out this website will help you in you answering questions from the work sheet and help you on the journey to finishing this quest.

FINAL PROJECT - you will create a map of a Mesopotamian city-state - complete with a Ziggurat.  You will also explain the kinds of laws they may have had in an early city state.
