So...Tell me..What do you do with all your hopes and dreams...when you find yourself...divorced after 20 years?

Oh...let's see...get in my car...and cruise main street? Go to a party?

I have friends...a lot of friends... Where are they on Saturday night? My married girlfriends are home with family... The single ones on dates...or..out of the country..on cruises..and vacations.

Me? I do not know where I belong anymore...Don't know about this...'relationship'...thing anymore.

Ahhhh....I am really going to make a mess out of this...

I am not an "after-divorce-man hater". ...I like men.. I like people...in general.

One man , I really liked...after my divorce...I had to go and think it was "LOVE"...Likely it was ...NOT love...

And now...there is someone else...I like a lot...but what can I say? I'll go and think....this is "LOVE" too....sheeeeesh!

Ok..So My mother did not name me donna darlin' Ha! I am sure it must be because she did not think of it.

I love the name angel-fire...and that is why I chose this journal.


Truth is...I feel a little sad...and needed to say it here...where no one I really know will read it.

Never mind..that the hubby cheated on me for 20 years...and I am recently divorced...I'll get over that.

The problem is...the dog! Yes...the dog! See...I had this terrible headache...and in order to 'cut some stress' from my life...my lovely daughter kept saying...."It's that dog! So...I listened...and tried to think about that...as good as I could with the headache... I gave away my dog!

Now...I am heartbroken...and very sorry I did that...and there is nothing I can do about it..now!

So...there I said it.

Lesson to be learned: "When you have a headache...don't let others make decisions...for you..."

Moving right along...sadly...but surely.
