Always Loved and Never Forgotton

November 17, 1988 to December 2, 2004

Life is a journey,
Another road to travel-
Very few make it more.
These are the ones who should be praised,
The ones who smile through the toughest times,
The ones who will offer help when they are in the greatest need.
They never lose faith,
They always push on.

When they leave it breaks our hearts,
But we should not grieve for them but for ourselves
For we have never know the joy as they have.
Life brings so many twists and turns,
But each event, each delay, each mistake is meant to be.
Nothing is coincidence, 
All is for a reason.
Although these twists and turns makes no sense now
And sometimes will cause us the greatest sadness,
Their meaning will be revealed in time.

But for those few the meaning is already clear,
And they are not afraid.
They do not cry,
They do not weep
For they know they are meant for so much more.
They smile and they us it’s okay, 
Put faith in the unknown,
Forget your fears
Because we are watched over by the ones before us.

Their smiles are the sunbeams
That filter down on a cloudy day.
Their happiness is a cool breeze on a hot summer night.
We have not lost these precious souls,
For they will always be in our hearts.
