Kathi's Accident Pictures

This happened Monday April 26, 2004 at about 7:30 at night. I was heading home from Palm Bay/Malabar on San Filippe. I was driving north and a big work style truck(turned out to be a '79 Ford) was heading west on Alcazar. He says his brakes went out and he went straight through the stop sign. I slammed on my brakes and apparently cut the wheel to the left so the front right and side of my car hit him. He dragged me about 10 yards to the other side of the street. My airbags didn't go and I was wearing a seat belt.At the time I seemed okay and only realized a few cuts on my right arm from the glass. Later that night I started to feel sore in my back and neck and especially my right arm. Unfortunately the driver did not have insurance or even a tag on the truck(I have both). Luckily I am pretty much ok,I'm still in a lot of pain but doing better. I just thought everyone would like to see pictures and hear what happened so I can stop retyping it fifty times. haha. I'll have more pictures soon of all the glass and different angles.As of right now the damage is estimated at $5800(the cop estimated $3000).We found out the car is offically totaled and we are getting money toward a new car so no more Saturn.

This is the side that was up against the truck.At the time I couldn't see how bad the damage was.

This is where the side of my car is covered because of the rain but the whole side is ripped off and the window shattered. There was glass all over the inside of the car.
