Game List

Here is your entire reason for visiting, right? Ever on the search for that elusive
"perfect" game, you wandered into my little site, in hopes of finding what
you seek. I hope you can, and I know how difficult it is to find a good equine game
that you want to stick with. I will strive to judge as equally and fairly as possible.
Please remember, the below reviews are only my interpretation, so I encourage
you to visit a game if it sounds interesting to you. To each his own, you know.
Also, there may be a few non-"horsey" games on the list. Life can't be all horses,
can it? Wait...did I just say that? :)

Have a game you want reviewed? Post it up on the main board, or on the advertising
board. Simple as that. Now, go ahead. Browse through the games... You know you want to.

Simulation Games

~ Crazy Stables
Review: Although you find many sim games, I haven't seen as many in message board
format. This one is, but it looks like it would be a good thing! Seems much easier to keep updated, which
means you will get results faster and things done quicker. Not alot of members just yet, but
maybe you could help out there. Looks like fun, so why not give it a try? For kid suitability,
5 for 5. Can't find a thing wrong. So, go check it out!

~ E-Trot
Review: Here's a sim game definitely worth checking out! Looks well put together, rules are
easy to understand, and shouldn't be hard at all to follow, providing you aren't a troublemaker. :)
A variety of breeds can be owned, as well as a variety of events entered. If you enjoy sim games,
this one looks well worth your time to check out. Don't just take my word for it, though. Go check it out yourself!

Equine RPGs

~ MBR: The Return
Review: MBR is your traditional equine RPG. You join as a wild horse, find a herd, have a
family, play out storylines. MBR's rules are simple enough, easy to understand, and I really like the
How to Play page. It explains every area of the game. What goes on there, who's allowed there,
etc. A very good thing to have when you first start playing and need to learn how things work.
As for kid suitability, I'd say it should be safe for just about any age, and it doesn't have
a complicated storyline to try and keep up with. There's cursings and blessings, which will keep
things interesting, but not to the point of getting younger, or less experienced, players lost.
Overall, if you enjoy a wild horse RPG, this looks like a pretty good one to try.

~ Free Forever
Review:Again, a traditional wild horse RPG. That's not a bad thing, though, and I'm not
insuating it is. Horse RPGs started out like this, no strange storylines, plots, etc. Just plain fun.
This looks like another game to just enjoy yourself RPing. Rules are easy enough, and the message board
format is pretty simple for about anyone to use. Kid suitability, on a scale of 1 to 5, I'd give it 5.
Nothing complicated, or confusing. Just a chance to RP, enjoy playing a horse, or several.
So, a thumb's up for Free Forever!

Freedom In the Wild
Review: This one has some interesting places to visit. For example, Evenstar's Lair, where
you can be given a task. If you complete the task, you are awarded a prize. An interesting concept,
and sounds like fun! Rules aren't complicated, and seems quite safe for kids of any age.
So...what are you waiting for? A few more minutes won't hurt. :)

~ The Majestic Equine
Review: Another "traditional" equine RPG, with Light, Dark, and Neutral lands. You don't always
see Neutral lands, so I would say it's a plus if you don't enjoy taking sides. This one might present
a problem for some kids (or for people like myself who just don't enjoy it), as it does
allow long breeding within the breeding posts, and cursing is allowed at a minimum. If these sorts of
things aren't for you, then I wouldn't recommend this one. If you don't have a problem with it
however, then you might enjoy it.

~ Freedom Forever
Review: Without a set story, this RPG looks like a good place just to have fun with RPing.
More members would definitely get things moving, so if you're interested, check it out. Definitely
kid suitable, and the owner seems willing to work things out to make the game better. Looks like another good one to check out!

~ Racing To Win
Review:This one could really qualify, or at least partially, for a sim game as well. It's
main style of playing however, is role play, as you play out you characters, training your horses, talking
to your friends, etc. Even the races are RPed, so that's definitely different, but in a cool way.
Rules look easy enough to follow, and great for kids of all ages.

~ Midnight Horses
Review:Another nice looking RPG to check out. Kid safe, and the colors are fun to look
at, not drab or "average." The rules seem simple enough, so if you enjoy a traditional RPG, I'd check this one out.

Non-Equine Games

~ Prowlin' Around
Review: I've never played in a cat RPG before, but this one looks like fun. The rules seem simple
enough, and it looks like a good site that kids of any age could enjoy. So, if you like cats,
why not give this one a try?

~ Land of Doria
Review: Being a Lord of the Rings fan, this one interested me in particular. The owner seems
to have gone to great trouble to insure the accuracy of the game. The rules plainly state the game is
not suited for those 11 and younger, so be warned (Such a warning would also include those like myself if it pertains to cursing or sexuality, though I haven't researched the game enough to know whether this is a concern or not). The site looks fantastic, and well put together.
So, if you enjoy Lord of the Rings, or just a good storyline to follow, or even something different
from horses, and can handle the content, maybe this one would suit you.
