Something to think about...

1. In your opinion, does the news media focus more attention on good or bad news?
I'd say they mostly focus on the bad. Every day we hear about some suicide bomber or another car bombing. But every once and awhile there's some good news. News stations do that because it gets more ratings.

2. What two things would you change about how the news is reported?
1. How insensitive some newscasters are (ie questioning people during their pain)
2. how much bad news they report -- it makes the world very depressing

3. Do you tend to watch the same news stations or do you change it around depending on the day?
I usually change around when I get the chance. It's always good to hear different stations' pov.

4. Do you generally believe most of what the news media reports or do you tend to dismiss their reporting?
I dunno, I really don't watch much news because I have homework.

5. What are your two main sources of news (local TV, national TV, internet, newspaper, etc.)?
newspaper and internet

Tell about a toy you remember from your childhood.
Let's see, when I was little I loved a lot of toys. I remember My Little Pony, Where's Waldo, Candyland, etc. I wish I had those Where's Waldo books. It's so fun to see what else is going on in the scene.

Soup
If you could make one thing in the world absolutely free for everyone, what would it be?
food

Salad
Approximately how many times per day do you think about your significant other?
ain't got one

Main Course
Name something you believe in 100%.
good can come out of everything.

Dessert
List 3 things you did this year that you would consider a "good deed."
1. I helped out a summer camp this summer for service hours. I became friends with Ian, a kid no one really liked. He was the kid you'd expect to dig up bugs and throw them at girls. He really stuck to me after I gave him a chance.
2. I donated some money to a kid at a nearby high school who had been seriously injured during a football practice. My school was able to raise around $2500 to help with medical bills, surgery, etc. I thought it's great when we help others.
3. I try to be nice to Lauren even after she's done something really mean to me. It's hard to do, but I try.

3. Are you going away for the holidays or staying home?
I'll be home until December 26. Then I'll be going to Indiana to visit the family.

4. What two things do you like about this time of year?
seeing family and the end of first semester

5. What two things do you dislike about this time of year?
