Albumix is a simfile series that is similar to (and inspired by) the DWI Extreme Series. All the simfiles were made to be played on a pad, difficulty ranging from first-time players to ITG-style fanatics. The genres in the series are mostly dance, trance, house, and electronica. Most of the songs have no relevance to previous dance similuation games, with the exception of Albumix VI (O2-Jam theme) and Albumix VII (PIU theme). The average songlength is slightly under 2 minutes, but a number do exceed that amount (very few exceeding 2:30).
The goal for this series is to provide players with relatively easy and fun steps for songs with a different flavor than generally seen in DDR and ITG.
