We do RESCUE
Having owned dogs since I came to this country from Germany 42 years ago, my big dream had always
been to own a Borzoi and an Afghan. As a little girl in my country I saw a lady walking her two Borzoi in a park and was
mesmerized over such beauty from that day on. Never knowing where to start finding one of those magnificent creatures, we
raised Great Danes and St. Bernard's for years and they grew up with my five children. Then one day after losing our last Dane
and St. Bernard within three months of each other, (they were 13 and 14 years old), I was very sad and my sons searched the
newspapers for a suitable dog unbeknownst to me. So one day my youngest son came home with the prettiest Borzoi we
named Toto. Unfortunately Toto died of Cardiomyopathy only four months later and we were all very heartbroken again. Then
we found a breeder right in our area that let us have a very pretty Borzoi named Gable and from there we got hooked on Borzoi
and thanks to the Internet we have now learned how to find Breeders in all breeds.
