The following lines written by Late Astronaut Ms. KALPANA CHAWLA always inspire me:-
“Sapnon se safalta ko jane wala rasta hai;
Bus use dekne ke liye ek nazar ki zarrorat hai;
Saath us par chalne ke sahas ki bhi;
Aur zarrorat hai us raste par sankalp se chalne ki.”
“There is a way to success from dreams,
It only needs a perfect vision to see it,
And courage to walk on it,
Also it needs determination to walk on that way.”
WORDS FROM ME: Normally I have seen people caught in the never ending loop of “What to do”, that is:
1) What to do when the only person who can stop your tears makes you cry?
2) Where to go when the doors of the only place where you feel secure are closed for you?
3) How to survive when the only hands which could save you don’t reach out to you?
In that case I will recommend:
1) Let the tears flow for a while. Then take a handkerchief and wipe them away. Also wipe away that person from your life.
2) Turn away from those doors and walk with your head held high. Don’t look back and you will find the security you need within you.
3) Stop waiting for anybody to reach out to you and you will find that your own hands possess the strength and support you ever needed to survive.
I am currently studying at Punjab Engineering College (PEC), Chandigarh, India. It is one of the best technical institutes of North India next only to the world famous IITs (Indian Institute of Technology). Of course admission to this college is through a tough entrance examination. Check out my College's Website: http://www.pec.ac.in
I am proud to be in this college as well as in this city, which is the most beautiful city all over the country. With a magnificent backdrop of the Shivaliks and planned by the famed French Architect Le Corbusier himself, Chandigarh was handed over to nation in 1952 to serve as the new Capital of the State of Punjab following the partition of India in 1947. In the words of Jawaharlal Nehru, Chandigarh is “Symbolic of the freedom of India, unfettered by the traditions of the past………an expression of the nation’s faith in the future”.
