http://school.discovery.com/lessonplans/ : I found that this website had lots of useful information. I also really like the Discovery channel and some of the videos and lesson plans available to teachers from this company.
http://teachers.net/lessons/ : This site was great because it is a compalation of lesson plans for different teachers. If you make up a lesson plan that you think is really great go ahead and add it to this page. I am sure all the other teachers who use this page as a resource would love it too!
http://www.lessonplanspage.com/ : If you are looking for a webpage full of ideas this is a good page to go to. It also is fairly easy to navigate too for those of us that are not at ease on the computer.
If you live in Las Cruces, another great teching resource is the Teachers' Center. You can find many little inexpensive insentives for your students and many goodies for your classroom too (like bulliten boarders, stamps, the elison machine, etc.). There are also the staff developers who are always there to help you too. To reach them just call 527-6054, they will gladly help you with finding more resources or helping you out in any way they can.
