For those
of you who know nothing about me let me tell you a little bit about my
background. I am the youngest child of Masashi and Sandra Nakamura. I was
born in Wahiawa, Hawaii September 23, 1983. Currently I am a student at
NMSU majoring in Elementary Education with an emphasis in math. I anticipate
graduating in December 2006.
I have wanted
to be a teacher ever since I started working in the YTY program in the
Las Cruces Public School District. My mother is also a teacher, although
now she is working as a staff developer for our school district. I am eagerly
awaiting the time when I will be able to help and aid children in learning.
