 | Greetings! My name is Richard Erskine and I have been in the massage therapy field for over a year. I first became interested in massage therapy when I injured my back many years ago. I used massage to help alleviate my back pain before I had surgery. I was amazed at how much it actually helped. A few years after my surgery, a new vocational school opened near my home and offered a massage therapy program. I was immediately interested and soon I found myself attending the school and getting my degree in massage therapy. My major intent, when I finished school, was to open peoples eyes to just how beneficial massage is to a person’s health. After graduating, I became interested in Reiki, healing using “universal life energy”, and also crystal healing. I am currently on the path to a Master’s degree in Reiki and am still studying crystal healing. By choosing the path in massage therapy, I have begun to lead a natural, healthier way of life. |
