About Sasha:
Sasha first started out as a gymnast when she was little. One day, at age seven, her friend took her to the local skating rink. Sasha loved it. She decided to do both gymnastics and figure skating. When she turned 10, she decided to just focus on skating, so she quit gymnastics. She also decided to take ballet to help gain her gracefulness and flexibility. She also does a workout called pilates twice a week. She stretches there with special equipment to get more flexible. No wonder why her spirals are so flexible!In the year 1999, she went to the US Junior Figure Skating Championships. There, she recieved 2nd place. A year later, she turned Senior and went to her first US Nationals at the Senior level. She finished 2nd place. Her first Olympics were in 2002, where she finished 3rd in the short program and 4th in the long program. Overall, she placed in 4th and did not get a medal. In the 2003-2004 Grand Prix season, Sasha was on fire winning 4 of the competitions. At this years Nationals, she finised in second with a great short program. Sasha also designs her own skating outfits and wishes to become a fashion designer when she finishes her competitive skating. Sasha still has many goals to accomplish, but she's on her way to fulfill them.
